A Car Collector’s Dream

A Car Collector’s Dream sees a new high-quality garden room added on the site of Quatrefoil House in Oxford. The pavilion-like structure can house any vehicle with standard dimensions, but has been designed specifically with the sleek profile of the McClaren P1 (pictured) in mind.

This unique project acts to compliment many of the architectural ideas inherent in the main house refurbishment. The quatrefoil motif appears in several locations in the vicinity and specifically on the original Gothic revival building facade, most prominently above the main entrance door. This ornament was used as the starting point for an intensive series of studies for the main house, and this new addition is no exception, further refining and iterating the historic Quatrefoil motif.
